I don't know about you, but I absolutely love paper, I don't care what kind either. I love books, cards,
journals, planners, and many other paper things. I received this gift from my mother who received it from my grandmother. Neither one of them can go a day without writing a to-do list, or other such things. I know when I first started my journal it seemed like such a daunting task, writing day after day after day just telling the paper my feelings and what I did that day. It seemed as dry as dust, but with a little push I was of into the world of journaling. I soon realized that it was more that just writing down my feelings. It was a book full of memories and soon the paper became anything but dull. The fibers themselves seemed to call me to them, begging me to put a story, memory, color, tape, a stain, anything on them. Of course I happily did.
Today I want to help you make that initial leap into the colorful world that is journaling. When I first began, I sat trying to find what to write. But that's what I'm here for. Below I have made a list full of prompts for you to begin with. I hope you find these as useful as I did. Happy journaling!
