On the 24th and 25th a special Women's retreat was going on at Valley View. The title was Reflections, meaning reflecting God in this world and, reflecting on what God has done in the lives of many in the church. Gratitude was also widely talked about. So without further adieu, I would like to share the main points that God showed me this weekend.
1. "God extends grace to you all the time, sometimes we're just too preoccupied to see it." -Kellie Haithcoat
2. Many things in this world you can't really count on. The only things that are never changing are: A) God is who he says he is and B) He does what he say he will.
3. Even through our insecurities God can work through you, he says "I know you! I made you I know exactly what you're feeling. Stop making excuses that you can't do it, I will do it through you!"
4. Through every situation, no matter how bad, you can always see God's amazing grace throughout it.
Also I would like to thank Marsha Baker for making the beautiful journals for us they are so unique and special. You can find her here.
My name is Grace. I am a "normal" girl who likes the simple things that life offers that's not so simple. This is where I share my heart and my love for the things I love. Such as Jesus, organizing, animals, and all sorts of crafts, (I'll try my hand at anything.) Enjoy reading my ups and downs through this wild life!
Fall is by far my favorite season, as soon as I feel the slightest nip in the air my heart longs for it to come faster. Here ...
My love for the King
I am a Christian, which means I am a firm believer, princess and daughter of the One True King. I believe that Christ is God's son. I believe that He was sent down from Heaven to live a perfect life, and die a perfect death to take all our imperfectness to make us whole, if only we believe.
